Ritchey MountainBikes 1980 Catalog
In 1980 John Finley Scott helped Gary Fisher and me when we composed our first catalog on his $13,000 Hewlett-Packard “word processor.”
It was an amazing device. Right away I wanted one. A year later, I had one, but it was an Apple II+ computer.

In 2016 a few old mountain bikers gathered at Ground Zero, AKA Repack. They were there to observe the 40th anniversary of the race that was supposed to settle an argument among a half dozen riders, but instead changed the world of bicycling forever.
