Category: My Own Articles
This area is for my published articles, most of them from the ’70s and ’80s..
While writing and publishing the Fat Tire Flyer, I also contributed articles for other cycling magazines such as Dirt Rag, Bicycling, Bicycle Guide, Cyclist, and bicycle magazines in other countries. After the Fat Tire Flyer went out of print, I accepted an editorial position from Rodale Press.
Here is a random sample of my other work..

Mountain Bike Action Shout-Out
A couple of months ago I supplied John Ker, editor of Mountain Bike Action, with some information on early ’80s Cannondale mountain bikes. I see that John used the information, and gave me a shout-out for the contribution.
Wheel Family Fun

My Old Mountain Bike Website
Looking back from the perspective of the 21st Century, there is no reasonable explanation for the fact that the Repack Downhill “clunker” race managed to take place for four years from 1976 to 1979.
