This area is for my published articles, most of them from the ’70s and ’80s..
While writing and publishing the Fat Tire Flyer, I also contributed articles for other cycling magazines such as Dirt Rag, Bicycling, Bicycle Guide, Cyclist, and bicycle magazines in other countries. After the Fat Tire Flyer went out of print, I accepted an editorial position from Rodale Press.

In 2018 Joe Breeze and I celebrated the 40th anniversary of our first trip to Crested Butte with another visit. This is the story I wrote for an English magazine.

In 1977 i wrote a story about the goofy hobby my friends and I shared. My roommate Gary Fisher took it with him when he visited the Bicycling Magazine offices, and they published it. This was my first ever magazine article.
