Bicycle Sport 4_84 NORBA Finals
The first NORBA National Championship in 1983 was held in driving rain.
That made for a terrible race but an entertaining article in Bicycle Sport.
1990 World Mountain Bike Championship Program
In 1990 Mammoth Mountain hosted one of two “World Mountain Bike Championships” held that year, this being the NORBA version.
The organizers asked me to write a brief history of mountain bike racing for the program. Here it is.
